    "We must mention that your Service Advisor, Robert Migliaccio went above and beyond what would be expected to make our experience with the break down of our car as painless as possible. We were on a trip to Virginia traveling through PA, 4:30 on a Friday night, when our car lost power, being over an hour away from Allentown Mini and the dealership closing at 5 pm Robert stayed and waited for us to get there which was after 5:30 had a rental car there within minutes and even helped to load our luggage and car seat into the rental car. Not your average employee. The car was fixed on Monday and delivered to our house in New York as promised on Monday afternoon. We must say Mini of Allentown went above and beyond to help us. I live one and a half hours away, so now I have to drive 3 hours round trip so you can put the seal on whenever it comes in.     "During the sale, one important service that was a deal breaker was the loaner when I brought the car in for service. I live 68 miles away from the dealership and like most people I work during the week. When I arrived for service, I explained to the service advisor that because I was in the middle inventory I may not be able to return to the dealership for two days. He then went on to explain that I would probably be charged $30 for the extra day. I was shocked. At no time during the purchase was I told that the "loaner" was a 24hr benifit. I understand that you have to be able to accomadate all of your customers; however, this was an unusual situation that the advisor did not even take into consideration. I guess I should have asked more indepth questions about MINI of Allentown benifits. As it turns out,it took the dealership longer than one day to service my car. Actually it took three days. Funny, I wasnt charged the $60.00 for the rental (loaner in benefit terms). The two most discouraging aspects of this service experience were: 1) I found out that my MINI is not capable of transporting me to work (3miles) and have the function properly without he use of a trickle charger. 2)They had my for three(3) days and did not once take it out for a test drive to see if they could detect the vibration in the front end. They attempted to produce the problem on the lift. Imagine that! They could not reproduce the vibration. I guess it takes the customer to suggest a test drive which the service advisor agreed might be the next step at my next visit. Fantastic! I was so put off at the responses from the service advisor that I did not even make a statement that in both cases, his responeses were ridiculous. Lets see: I have worked at the same place for six(6) years and have used the following vehicles with out a trickle charger: Chrysler 300c, Chevy suburban, saturn, jeep wrangler, town and country, chevy colorado, triumph rocket III, moto guzzi norge. I am hoping that you have been able to understand the frustration and ridiculous of my experience with my last service. In conclusion, I suggest that you ensure that your MA's understand the requirements for insurance when your customers lease one of your cars. I was harassed by MINI financial for months with them stating that my level of coverage was not sufficient even though I sat at the desk on the day of purchase while my MA called and confirmed my insurance. I'm a recent mini owner, and so things are still a bit new for me, but I ahve to say that the service at the dealership was very nice. I called and left a message and was called right back. I was also contacted at least three times during my service with updates and with additional information. I felt as if I was a part of the service process, and that I knew what was going on the entire time. The service was done well, and quickly, and everyone was very helpful. My loaner car was in great shape and allowed me to not lose a whole day of running around which comes in handy for the Holidays. I only wish you had Saturday Hours.......It is very hard in my position to take a day off just to srvice a car and being that there are not a lot of Mini Dealerships to choose from it makes it harder.
